Rush Limbaugh & The NFL
13 October 2009 | By dillon-kgmi in National PoliticsI think it’s a stretch to label Rush Limbaugh a racist. Sure, he’s said some provocative things that were on the line. But, the charge of ‘racist’ should be one we’re very slow to throw out here in America. You better have some really solid evidence.
Furthermore, even if Rush is a racist, should he be barred from buying an NFL team? Like it or not, it’s not illegal to be a racist in this country.
How can it be OK for Robert Byrd, a former Ku Klux Klan member, to serve on the U.S. for 50 years, yet still be unacceptable for a radio talk show host (with no such affiliation) to own a football team?

The liberals has so long spouted the racist label at Rush, it’s become conventional wisdom for the left. Those of us who actually listen to Rush, understand that this is a lie and tactic to discredit him, and should be attacked through legal means. Byrd’s a Former racist, Rush is an Ongoing one. He hasn’t grown out of it and he’s going to get worse the more people support his behavior. I can appreciate the devil advocate position as much as anyone, it’s variety in the viewpoints I guess, but Rush’s a lost cause.
