Stimulus Road Signs = Obama ‘O’?
18 September 2009 | By dillon-kgmi in National PoliticsDriving up the Hannegan on my way home from work this week, I noticed a new government road sign. It was some logo inside an ‘O’ shape. Immediately, it reminded me of the Obama ‘O’ from the 2008 campaign, but as I got closer, I realized it had something to do with the construction project ahead, where crews have the road closed to replace the Scott Ditch bridge.
Today, I noticed this article in the Washington Times:
Apparently, there’s controversy over whether the feds should be spending millions on these signs. Maybe I’m just a conspiracy theorist, but I think we should be concerned that they look like the Obama ‘O’.
Am I crazy? Have you seen these signs, with the ‘O’ shape broken into four quarters with different symbols?
And, honestly, did it remind you of the Obama ‘O’?

I grew up in Wisconsin and never saw a construction expenditure sign until I came to Washington in 2007. Who was originally responsible for putting them up in this state? I agree it seems like wasteful spending, but it’s been happening in WA since I’ve been here. Why the sudden interest? It seems like you’re just finding another reason to dump on dems, as you’re job requires.
No Dillon, you’re not crazy. Not only is Obama trying to destroy the U.S. of A he’s trying to get us to help him do it with subliminal road sign messages. What’s the best way to get to Americans? In their cars! He’s even trying to get to me in my own home!
